Michael Newton and Life Between Lives
Regression to Life Between Lives is a technique developed by Dr. Michael Newton and is described in detail in his books, Journey of Souls, Destiny of Souls and
Life Between Lives Hypnpotherapy, as well as the latest book in the series, Memories of the Afterlife which was edited by Dr. Newton. These books summarize the findings
the clients of Dr. Michael Newton and Members of The Newton Institute
who have been hypnotized into a superconscious state where they found it possible to "see" into the spirit world. Based upon his
hypnotic regressions with over 7,000 Life Between Lives clients, Dr Michael Newton has been able to describe the realm of the spirit world which is
consistent with, yet far more elaborated, than that found in the Near Death Experience and Out of Body literature. Dr. Newton's books are among the most
significant, in terms of both the depth and inspiration, of any you will find in the metaphysical and spiritual literature regarding the Path of the Soul and

Life Between Lives Session
The Hypnotic Regression process required for Life Between Lives
requires a deep trance state and your session may last 3 1/2 to 4 hours or
more. Time and care is involved to get to know the client so that they are able
to achieve the level of trance necessary in order to be successful. You may be
surprised at how quickly quickly the time passes since time can become
distorted during your session, and it may be over before you know it. You may
choose to read Michael Newton's books, Journey of Souls and Destiny of Souls
before your session, though this is not required.
Life Between Lives Session Length
The extended length of the Life Between Lives session provides enough time to
gather relevant background information as well as a discussion about the
technique prior to induction into the trance state. Hypnosis is a collaborative
effort, is not something that another person does to you without your
cooperation. Therefore, it is essential that your mind is satisfied concerning
the safety of the procedure and there are no lingering unanswered questions
remaining prior to thye beginning of the process.
Hypnosis Trance for Life Between Lives
People who are already familiar with hypnosis or meditation tend to enter into
the trance state more rapidly and with greater depth than those encountering
this altered state of consciousness for the first time. For this reason, before
attempting a LBL session, it is highly recommended that prospective clients
first experience at least one session of hypnosis, preferably Past Life
Regression, with a qualified hypnotherapist. In order to establish rapport with
the LBL therapist, it works best if the Past Life Regression session is
facilitated by the same person who will be guiding you through your Life
Between Lives session.
Life Between Lives Experience
I have had some clients ask if conscious entry into the spirit world through
Life Between Lives can result in making our physical existence appear overly
mundane and uninteresting. Without exception, our experience has been just the
reverse. During the Life Between Lives session individuals derive an enhanced
understanding of why they were born into there current lifetime, why they have
had to face the challenges that have arisen during the course of life, and what
needs of their soul are being fulfilled in passing through these experiences.
Through an encounter with one's "Council of Elders" and a visitation to what
some have termed "The Place of Life Selection" it is understood (through
experience rather than blind belief) that our present human incarnation, like
those which preceded it, is a precious opportunity for spiritual evolution. As
a result, people return to wakeful consciousness with a deeper commitment to
live out their "soul's contract" or life's purpose. The precious opportunity
for spiritual evolution in our life can now be met with excitement and
understanding.
