Is This a Real Path Out of Tech?

It can be, and I will give you the measured version rather than the brochure version. The skills transfer better than you expect: systems thinking maps cleanly onto session structure, and debugging is regression to cause by another name, tracing a presenting problem back to the line where it was introduced. People who have spent years reasoning carefully about complex systems learn this craft fast.

The wise path is the gradual one. Train while you are still employed, the schedule asks for six days off across six weeks, see your first clients on evenings and weekends, and let the practice prove itself before you hand in a badge. Some graduates go full time, others keep hypnotherapy as the work that makes the rest of their week meaningful. Both are wins.

The Skeptic

I Am Evidence Minded. Will This Feel Rigorous?

Good. Skeptics make excellent hypnotherapists, because they refuse to run on faith and this training never asks them to. The method is Discussion, Demonstration, Doing: every technique is explained, then demonstrated live in front of the class where you can watch real responses and question every decision, then practiced by you the same day under supervision. You are never asked to believe anything you have not watched work.

Hypnosis itself requires no belief either, only cooperation and focused attention. It is a natural, well documented state, and the results with stress, sleep and habits are concrete enough to satisfy the most demanding mind in the room, which some sessions will tell you is usually the client from Berkeley.

Class runs 10 to 6 Central, which is 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon Pacific. Three modules of four days, Thursday through Sunday, every other week. The early start takes one cup of coffee to respect, and in exchange your evenings stay yours through the entire training.

The 110 self directed hours, reading, the video library, and five complete practice sessions with people outside class, happen whenever your life allows. Plenty of my California graduates trained around demanding jobs. The program was shaped by people doing exactly that.

Will I be the only Californian in class?
