Is Denver Hypnosis Training held in person or online?

Denver Hypnosis Training is delivered through a live, interactive online classroom, which means the full professional certification is available from Denver, the Front Range, or anywhere in Colorado, without travel. You are in class with me in real time, practicing daily in supervised breakout rooms. This is not a stack of recordings. It is a live classroom, and there is a seat in it with your name on it.

This is a complete 220 hour professional certification taught personally by second generation hypnotherapist Mark Johnson, delivered through a live, interactive online classroom. You practice on real people every single class day, under live supervision, and graduate ready to see paying clients.

How Do the Class Times Work From Mountain Time?

Gently. Class runs 10:00 to 6:00 Central, which is 9:00 in the morning to 5:00 in the afternoon in Denver, about as close to a normal working day as a live national classroom can get. We meet Thursday through Sunday every other week, twelve days across three modules, so a Front Range student with a standard work week takes only six days off across the entire certification.

I wish there were 10 or 20 stars, as I cannot begin to put into words how amazing the Hypnosis Training course was with Mark Johnson. Once COVID-19 derailed the original class schedule of meeting in-person for two separate weeks of training, Mark presented through Zoom. We had presentations and lectures, we were able to see notes and outlines, video clips and live demonstrations with his shared screens. Lots of member participation and interaction. The separate rooms were perfect for practicing techniques with partners. Zoom allowed for Mark to enter the rooms and observe; as well, there was a help button so he could assist at anytime. Feedback throughout was excellent. As I have practiced with volunteers, friends, family, all of which was done on Zoom, both the clients as well as myself have been extremely comfortable and found the on-line experiences to be comfortable and effective. I feel very well prepared and have formed some awesome relationships with Mark and my fellow classmates. The best!

Do I Need a Natural Gift for This Work?

No. Real clinical confidence is built, not born, and I say that as someone who grew up watching a master and still had to learn the mechanics like everyone else. Hypnosis is a structured, systematic, teachable skill. We break each technique into steps, you watch it demonstrated live, then you do it yourself with a classmate the same day. You get proof it works in your hands within your first hours of class, and that proof repeats daily until doubt gives up.

After Graduation

What Happens After I Certify?

The support keeps going, because graduation is where the real questions start. The final fourteen hours of the program happen four to six weeks after the last module, once you have real sessions behind you and real questions to bring back. You keep lifetime access to the resource library, your first year of IACT membership is included, and you get six months of the Good Vibes Hypnosis Training Mentorship Program, a live monthly group where we work through cases and practice building together.

Absolutely. This foundational 110 hour live training is the specific prerequisite required for those in the Denver area moving toward Life Between Lives (LBL) work.

Then we spread it out. You can lock in your rate with an $895 deposit and pay the balance over several months, interest free, on a schedule we build together. I have never wanted money to be the reason someone with a real calling stays where they are. The program totals 220 hours and certifies through the International Association of Counselors and Therapists, and your first year of membership and certification is included in your tuition. To earn the certified hypnotherapist designation you attend all 110 hours of live class, complete 110 hours of self directed study on your own time, which includes the reading list, the video library, and at least five complete hypnosis sessions with people outside of class, turn in a written homework assignment, pass the multiple choice exam we take in class during the final module, complete a short online ethics course through IACT, and submit one audio recording of an interactive session. The exam sounds more intimidating than it is. We take a practice test together first, so you walk in knowing exactly what to expect.
